Build Your Resilience to Weather Any Storm

Updated: Jan 2

We have all had challenges in our lifetimes but this current one dealing with a global pandemic is really a test of our strength and resilience. Now is the time that having good health really matters!

The important elements of your health and lifestyle habits to evaluate and consider right now are:

⭐️Physical strength, endurance and resilience.

⭐️Stress management, mental health.

⭐️Spiritual health.

Are you making all of these aspects of your health an important focus of your day to day life? Do something for yourself to support each and every category as they are all dependent on one another.

It can be helpful to come up with a strategy of how you will incorporate each of these elements into your life. Make a plan of how you will fit them into your day and then write them into your schedule or put them on your calendar so you don't forget.

Unless you have made a habit out of regularly focusing on each of these, you will most likely find something else to do or put it off until later. We all know how that goes as time slips away and we have forgotten our plan completely. It's easy to start off with good intentions but it is even easier to get swept up in the moment and forget the importance of the goals we are trying to accomplish.

If you have a difficult time holding yourself accountable when trying to stick to your plan then find somebody you know and trust to give you support. Tell them your intentions and make sure they will check in and ensure that you are following through.

Are your habits ultimately hurting your or helping you? Defining what good health looks like to you in each of the above categories is important. And then stick with it! It is up to you to be strong, resilient and mindful.
